Clinical
Pilates

Therapeutic, evidence-informed movement — designed and delivered by a registered occupational therapist for people living with chronic or complex health conditions.

What is Clinical Pilates? Therapeutic movement, whole-person care

Clinical Pilates is a therapeutic, evidence-informed approach to movement and rehabilitation — distinct from general fitness Pilates in that it is designed and delivered by a qualified health professional. At Farmer & Co., our Clinical Pilates program is offered by our AHPRA-registered occupational therapist, bringing a uniquely whole-person lens to movement-based care.

Sessions are 1:1, tailored entirely to you, and grounded in an understanding of how chronic illness, pain, and complex health conditions affect the way you move and live.

Who can benefit? Designed for chronic and complex conditions

Clinical Pilates at Farmer & Co. is designed for people living with chronic or complex health conditions, including:

  • Persistent pain or fatigue
  • Mobility and postural challenges
  • Nervous system dysregulation
  • Long-term illness affecting strength and capacity
  • Reduced function impacting daily life and independence
How we practice at Farmer & Co Paced carefully. Always sustainable.

We understand that chronic conditions shape not just how you move, but how you rest, recover, and participate in daily life. Our approach draws on therapeutic movement, body awareness, pain science, and functional rehabilitation to support strength, mobility, breath, and nervous system regulation.

Sessions are paced carefully, prioritising safety and sustainability above all else. The goal is not just physical improvement but a genuine reconnection with your body and a rebuilding of confidence in what it can do.

Not just physical improvement — but a genuine reconnection with your body and a rebuilding of confidence in what it can do.
