Occupational
Therapy
Supporting you to live with greater independence, meaning, and ease — in the activities that matter most to you.
Occupational therapy is a clinically recognised, evidence-based health profession focused on helping people live with greater independence, meaning, and participation in daily life. At Farmer & Co., our occupational therapist is AHPRA-registered and brings extensive experience across chronic illness, pain management, and mental health.
Our OT works with adults and children navigating a wide range of experiences, including:
- Chronic pain and persistent health conditions
- Fatigue and energy management
- Mental health conditions affecting daily functioning
- Illness or injury impacting independence
- Sensory processing difficulties
- Life transitions and loss of role or routine
We take a whole-person approach, recognising that chronic conditions shape not just how you move, but how you rest, connect, and participate in the things that matter to you. Drawing on pain science, functional rehabilitation, energy conservation, sensory processing, and mindfulness-based approaches, sessions are practical, collaborative, and always grounded in your goals and lived experience.
Every session is shaped entirely by your goals, strengths, and circumstances.
